外牆安裝・露天車位Exterior wall, open bay

位置完全露天,長期日曬雨淋。IP65 機身加裝防水遮罩,並獨立打設接地樁,經歷多場黑色暴雨後運作正常。Fully exposed to sun and rain. IP65 body plus a rain shield, with its own earth rod. Several black rainstorms later, no faults.

現場情況

西貢一間三層村屋,車位在屋側,完全露天 —— 冇簷篷、冇遮擋,全日西斜,夏天暴雨直接打在牆上。電錶在正門旁邊,車位在屋的另一側,中間隔住一段外牆。

業主之前問過兩間公司,一間報價後就冇再覆,另一間建議「加個膠盒遮住就得」。

最棘手的地方

不是電力,是防水同紫外線。

電錶是單相 60A,容量足夠上 7kW,這部分不難。真正的問題是:這個安裝位置,未來十年每一日都要面對日曬雨淋。香港的紫外線會令普通 PVC 線槽在兩三年內變脆、爆裂;而黑色暴雨的雨水是橫向打過來的,普通的「上方遮擋」根本擋不到。

另一個問題是接地。村屋的接地情況參差,部分舊屋的接地阻值偏高,而露天安裝對接地的要求更嚴格。

我們點做

1. 走線用防紫外線線槽 沿外牆走約 8 米,全程使用抗 UV 線槽,接駁位加防水膠邊。線槽固定用不鏽鋼螺絲同膨脹螺栓,避免生鏽污染外牆。

2. IP65 機身 + 額外防水遮罩 Wall Case 3 本身已經是 IP65(防塵、防噴水)。但因為這個位置是橫向暴雨,我們額外加裝一個防水遮罩,向前伸出足夠深度,令雨水打不到接駁面同插頭位。

3. 獨立接地樁 現場實測原有接地阻值不理想,所以在充電樁附近另外打設一支接地樁,做到獨立接地,並記錄接地阻值在測試紀錄上。

4. 接駁位全部朝下 所有電纜入口同接駁位設計為向下開口,即使有水沿線槽流落,也不會積在接駁位。

結果

安裝後經歷多場黑色暴雨及颱風,運作正常,未出現跳掣或入水情況。業主一年後回報:外牆線槽冇變色、冇變形。

這個案例適合誰參考

如果你的車位冇簷篷、冇上蓋,那麼你要問報價公司的不是「幾錢」,而是:

  • 線槽是不是防紫外線的?
  • 遮罩伸出多深?擋唔擋到橫向雨?
  • 接地阻值實測係幾多?有冇寫在測試紀錄上?

這三條問題,答得出的公司通常做得到。

The site

A three-storey village house in Sai Kung with the bay down the side of the building, fully exposed — no canopy, no shelter, west-facing sun all afternoon, and summer rain hitting the wall directly. The meter sits by the front door; the bay is on the opposite side, with a stretch of exterior wall in between.

The owner had already approached two companies. One quoted and never followed up. The other suggested "just put a plastic box over it".

The hard part

Not the electrics — the water and the UV.

The meter was single-phase 60A with enough capacity for 7kW, so that part was straightforward. The real problem was that this position has to survive sun and rain every day for the next decade. Hong Kong's UV makes ordinary PVC trunking brittle and split within two or three years, and black-rainstorm rain arrives sideways, which a simple overhead cover does nothing about.

Earthing was the other issue. Village house earthing varies a lot, and some older properties have high earth resistance — which matters more for an outdoor installation, not less.

What we did

UV-resistant trunking. About 8m along the exterior wall, using anti-UV trunking throughout with weatherproof gaskets at the joints. Fixed with stainless steel screws and anchors so nothing rusts and stains the wall.

IP65 body plus an added rain shield. The Wall Case 3 is IP65 (dust-tight and protected against water jets) out of the box. But because the rain here comes in sideways, we added a shield projecting far enough forward to keep water off the connection face and the plug.

Its own earth rod. Measured on site, the existing earth resistance wasn't good enough, so we drove a separate earth rod near the charger to give it a dedicated earth, and recorded the resistance on the test certificate.

Every entry facing down. All cable entries and connection points open downwards, so any water running down the trunking can't pool at a joint.

The outcome

Several black rainstorms and typhoons later, it runs normally — no tripping, no water ingress. A year on, the owner reports the trunking hasn't discoloured or deformed.

Who this case is useful for

If your bay has no canopy and no roof, the question to ask a company quoting you isn't "how much" but:

  • Is the trunking UV-resistant?
  • How far does the shield project — does it stop sideways rain?
  • What earth resistance did you actually measure, and is it on the test record?

Companies that can answer those three usually do the job properly.
